Ingredients
Distilled Water
has virtually all of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container, leaving nearly all of the solid contaminants behind. Distillation produces very pure water.
Olive Oil (olea europaea) is a very valuable ingredientl used in shampoo and soap making. Olive oil is beneficial in soap as it is an excellent moisturizer, attracting external moisture and holding it to the skin, helping prevent loss of internal moisture.
 Coconut Oil (cocos nucifera) adds additional moisturizing properties to soap and helps to harden soap. It is THE most important ingredient for rich full lathering. Coconut oil lathers so well, it will even lather in salt water.
Palm Oil
(elaeis guineensis) is the primary contributor to soap. It increases the hardness of the bar. This is extremely important as many other oils used in soap have a tendency to create a soft bar of soap.
Castor Oil
( ricinus communis), is soothing and lubricating as it is quickly absorbed by the body. A natural humectant, castor oil attracts and holds moisture to the skin.
Sweet Almond Oil ( prunus amygdalus dulcis) is rich in minerals, vitamins and proteins. It is an excellent lubricant that is softening, revitalizing and nourishing to all skin types. Great for dry itchy skin.
Kukui Oil ( aleurites moluccana) is a rich source of linoleic acid, essential for healthy skin. It is an anti-aging and moisturizing oil that is also an excellent skin conditioner.
Jojoba Oil (simmondsia chinensis) gives your hair the extra protection, shine and body that we all like to have. It is an excellent conditioning treatment that benefits all hair types. Jojoba moisturizes, cleanses and revitalizes your scalp and hair.
Emu Oil
acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing the irritation and itchiness commonly caused by dandruff, eczema, seborrhea and psoriasis. Emu oil promotes healing and normalization while bringing softness and life back intoyour hair. It assists in the repair and conditioning of split ends, giving hair a natural, healthy shine.
Sweet Orange (citrus auant dulcis) acid gently dissolves grease and dirt
buildup and restores the shine.
 Amla “Indian Gooseberry” Powder ( phyllanthus emblica) is renowned in cosmetic applications for its role in hair and scalp care. Amla is an excellent addition to our ESP shampoo bar helping to enhance the hair quality. Amla also helps to remove dandruff flakes and soothe scalp irritations. It not only brings forth a rich, natural shine and soft texture, but also helps rejuvenate hair that is dull and damaged.
Patchouli (pogostemon cablin)is a powerful, pungent essential oil, mossy and musty, earthy and exotic. Patchouli cools and calms inflamed, dry, cracked skin and helps soothe dry skin and scalp irritations, keeping the skin clear and fresh.
Sandalwood (santalum album) has a rich, woody, earthy scent that many feel contain aphrodisiac qualities. Sandalwood has calming and soothing effects.
Lavender (lavendula augustofolia) has a sweet, crisp scent. Lavender has a long history of cosmetic use. The name comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’. It has a relaxing and calming effect.
Khus
( vetivera zizanoides) has a heavy, woodsy, earthy-sweet scent. Khus maintains and protects hair leaving it rich, healthy and manageable. It enhances damaged hair and helps remove dandruff flakes. It blends beautifully with sandalwood and lavender.

Our cold Process soaps are labour intensive; require a curing time of over three week and a hand cutting method. Our soaps are of superior quality as we use only natural ingredients and allow the soap to age slowly, at its own speed. Please ‘air dry’ them when finished using, as they do soften if left to sit in water. Without the chemical hardeners added, this is normal for a natural soap.
Cold processed soaps are made with lye (sodium hydroxide). Don’t worry! This is the way your grandmother made soap, and true soap cannot be made without lye. The finished product CONTAINS NO LYE, only what is called saponified oils. Therefore you will not see lye on the labels.
*the unscented shampoo bar contains only the base oils; Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Kukui Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Palm Oil and Lemon seed extract. There are no essential oils in this bar.
